Description
More than 11 million natural history museum specimens used for research, teaching, and outreach are housed in the collections of the University of Wisconsin-Madison academic units of Anthropology, Botany, Entomology, Geoscience, and Zoology (Integrative Biology) across the university campus. The university was founded in 1848 and has a current enrollment of >52,000 students.
