Data Mobilization Workshop for Asia 2021

    This workshop enables participants to plan and implement biodiversity data mobilization efforts effectively using accepted community standards. Its aim is to increase the volume, richness and quality of the data published through the GBIF network. This course was first developed as part of the Biodiversity Information for Development BID programme funded by the European Union.

    • Project planning
    • Data capture
    • Data management
    • Data publishing

    Invited participants include representatives from the (BIFA) Biodiversity Information Fund for Asia project teams and GBIF Asia Region participant nodes. The workshop and associated self-paced activities will be conducted over the months of October, November and December. Virtual (real-time) sessions will be conducted with two daily sessions over four days (9-12 November 2021):

    Session 1: 05:00 – 07:00 am CPH time
    Session 2: 09:00 – 11:00 am CPH time

    Please note that 8th November GBIF hosts the GBIF Asia Virtual Summit
    The Asia Virtual Summit consists of 2 sessions of 1.5 hours with a 30 minutes break.
