This workshop enables participants to plan and implement biodiversity data mobilization efforts effectively using accepted community standards. Its aim is to increase the volume, richness and quality of the data published through the GBIF network. This course was first developed as part of the Biodiversity Information for Development BID programme funded by the European Union.

Invited participants include representatives from the BID Pacific project teams. The workshop and associated self-paced activities will be conducted over the months of August and September. Virtual (real-time) sessions will be conducted with two daily sessions over four days (17-20 August).
